He was the father of David Lee Thomas Bass (American U.S. Army sergeant) and Vassiliki "Voula"Voula Papadimitriou (Greek, Basilike Papademetriou) as a contestant for the 1957 Miss Greece beauty contest. Athena is his younger sister is also drummer. Lee was just two years old when his father accompanied his family on a trip to the United States. Lee received his first drums at the age of 4 and his first full-size drum kit as an adult. To pursue a career as musician He dropped out of high school and joined the L.A. nightclub band Suite 19. 5. He was a teenager who loved listening to Van Halen as well as Led Zeppelin as well as Kiss, AC/DC, Cheap Trick, Kiss and Led Zeppelin.
