Lis Wiehl (born on 19th August 1959) was born on 19 August 1961. She is an American author and former legal analyst for Fox News.
She is an adjunct professor of Law in New York Law School and was previously an Associate Professor at University of Washington Law School. She has also provided legal analysis for National Public Radio program and on Bill O'Reilly's radio program, The Radio Factor. She appeared regularly of The O'Reilly Factor as well Lou Dobbs Today The Kelly File With Megyn Kelly with Neil Cavuto and The Kelly File.
Wiehl she was born and raised within Yakima in Washington State, graduated in Yakima from West Valley High School. She holds the degree of Bachelor of Arts from Barnard College and an MA in Literature (University of Queensland) as well as an JD in law from Harvard Law School.
Wiehl was a prosecutor at the US Attorney's Office. Her role was as the correspondent for legal issues of the NPR program All Things Considered. She served as the "deputy chief investigatory attorney for Democrats on House Judiciary Committee" during Clinton's administration. She was a law professor with an appointment in the University of Washington School of Law Seattle from 1995 until 2001. Wiehl served as an analyst for Fox News Legal Analyst from 2001 to 2017.
